Students/citizen scientists, using a food diary, collect food consumption data from other students and also from school staff (preferably from a minimum of 10% of the school population). The data concerns the type and amount of food consumed during the school hours for three consecutive days. Then, they process the collected data and insert them in an excel tool that calculates the school’s carbon footprint that relates to food consumption. The toolkit is currently only available in Greek but we are working on an English and Dutch version also.
